Despite its name, this hotel is not anywhere close to Italy. Rather, you'll find the property – a former bank – smack dab in the middle of Berlin. All of the city's biggest attractions are within walking distance of the property, including the Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island, Tiergarten, Reichstagufer and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. Much like the neighborhood in which the hotel resides, there is plenty to do on the property. Guests can take a dip in the pool (located in a former jewelry vault), get their hearts pumping at the fitness center or unwind at the on-site spa. For dining, La Banca is the hotel's main restaurant and serves Italian cuisine. Opera Court is solely dedicated to afternoon tea and the rooftop terrace, another seasonal space, offers signature cocktails and light a la carte items. Rooms are traditional in style and feature standard necessities, such as TVs, in-room bars, bathrooms with separate baths and showers and free Wi-Fi for up to five devices. Though guests said many different attributes contributed to their successful stays, it was the top-notch service that was the most memorable for many. What's more, the hotel is part of The Leading Hotels of the World, meaning Leaders Club members have access to perks here.
